About JetCharterHQ

JetCharterHQ compares private jet charter in Australia. We publish what operators actually charge, explain how the pricing works, and list the companies flying each route so you can approach them.

We are not an air operator. We do not own aircraft, we do not sell flights, and we have no fleet. That is deliberate: almost every other result for a charter search is a company selling its own flights, which makes its prices hard to compare with anyone else's.

What we actually do

We publish real prices. Every figure on this site is one a company has published, attributed to the company that published it, with the basis stated: one way or return, per aircraft or per person, including or excluding GST. Those four distinctions are where most charter comparisons fall apart.

How we check who holds a certificate

Anyone carrying paying passengers in Australia must hold an Air Operator's Certificate issued by CASA. We search each company against CASA's public air operators register and say plainly what we found, including when we could not find a company at all. Of the 18 companies we checked on 29 September 2026, 7 hold a certificate and one more trades under business names held by two CASA certificate holders.

The register lists legal entity names, not trading names, so several operators only appear once you trace the business behind the brand through ABN Lookup. “Not matched to the register” means we could not tie a company to an entry. It does not mean the company has no certificate. Brokers do not need one, because they sell flights operated by certificate holders.

We recheck the register every quarter, and flag any certificate due to expire within 90 days. The register's search sometimes returns unrelated results, so we check the entity name on every match rather than trusting a result count.

We say when we do not know

Where no company publishes a price for a route, we say so rather than estimating. Brisbane to Melbourne is the third busiest airline route in the country and nobody publishes a charter price for it. That gap is on the page.

How we make money

Operators can pay to be featured. That can affect where a company appears on a page. It never changes a price we publish, never changes what we say about a company's certificate status, and never buys a recommendation. We also pass enquiries to companies, and may be paid for that.

How current this is

Charter prices move. We date every price on the site and change that date only when someone has actually rechecked the source. Route and hourly prices are reviewed quarterly, empty legs monthly, and certificate status quarterly. An old date is more useful to you than a fresh date on a stale number.
